Contrary to the belief of many people, winning at Bingo is not just luck. There are ways to increase your chances and win more often.
The next time you are playing, pay attention to the first few numbers to appear on the master board. You’ll notice that these numbers all tend to end in different digits each! Most bingo players, focuse their attention on the cards, not on the master board, and overlook this. Since the majority of regular games last for some nine to a dozen calls, you will greatly improve your chances by concentrating on numbers with different digits in the end.
The reason behind this important advice lays in the first characteristic of drawing numbers at random from a uniform distribution. In theory, there should be an equal ammount of numbers ending in 1, 2, 3, and so on. The rules for a sample drawing of 10 balls out of 75 tend to represent each digit ending.
This rule comes from mere probability. If the first number called in a game is, say, N-32, then the probability that on the next draw, the second number will not end with the digit 1 is increased. This stands true just because there are more balls left ending with digits other than 2. If the next number is G-57 then the probabilities are increased that the next number will not end in 2 or 7.
